  • Interested in permaculture for your property but just looking for a helpful step forward rather than full design package?

    A Permaculture Concept Plan can be a great affordable step forward which will include the same initial process and interview and stepped concept of examples and progress ideas to help you move forward with your own property. It’s the ideas and suggestions, without the need for all the pretty pictures.

Home Food Forest Design

  • Allow 1.5-2hrs for initial site visit and consultation.

  • $1000 - weekday consultations

    $1100 - weekend consultation

  • My absolute favourite. If you’re looking at turning your block into your own Edible Haven, a food forest design may be just right for you. Food forests use permaculture ideals and the natural ecosystem you live in to creates an edible landscape with less work in the future to keep things running.

    The design includes planting suggestions for specific areas of your property and stepped stages to get you started.

    Additional add-ons (optional) include formal soil analysis, one-on-one teaching for specific desired areas (eg. compost vs worm farms, propagation, seed saving)

Small Group Training

  • 2-4hrs

  • 2hr session - $400

    4hr session - $670

  • Grab a couple of friends and learn about vegetable garden success in a small group session at your garden/house. Great way to help spilt the cost of learning between a few of you. Topics can be tailored based on interest (eg soil, vegetable garden set up, propagation, seed saving, fruit trees, poultry etc)

    Suitable for 4-6 people - for larger groups or longer sessions, please email me to discuss.

Veggie Garden Set Up

Nature Strip Design

  • Usually 2 week turn around.

    Site will be visited during the week for assessment

  • Looking to expand your edible landscape to your nature strip? Wanting to create a food haven and habitat for the native wildlife in your area? Edible Haven provides a nature strip design tailored to your desires and your native wildlife. Planting suggestions and stepped concepts are provided.

    Please ensure permissions for plantings on your nature strip are allowed by your local council prior to design.

Beehive Set Up

  • Most of the leg work is done behind the scenes, but you should allow for two 0.5-1hr visits to your site

  • $1500 full set up - initial

    $200 beehive check - any stage (see more info for details)

  • Want to start beekeeping but need help with the initial set up? Let me to do all the leg work for you. Price includes 8 frame beehive with nucleus, supper for later use, smoker, tools, and a protective hat for inspections. You will need to register as a beekeeper to have bees on your property which I can help facilitate for you.

    Please note - nucleus will only be available in Spring through to early Summer.

     

    Beehive inspections including an emailed report regarding health findings are also available for those with limited time to check their bees, or for when travelling.

    Varroa mite checks are complimentary with this service if you are due for this (I use the alcohol wash method). Hive checks are recommended at least monthly, or more frequently (10-14 days) during swarming season.

Worm Farm Help & Set Up

Extra Pair of Hands Help

  • Struggling to get on top of your vegetable garden or food forest on your own? Finding the kids too distracting and need someone who can go between working on the veggies to kid wrangling? Have a senior loved one who needs extra help with their loved veggie patch? When ‘garden maintenance’ doesn’t quite fit your loved edible haven and you need help here and there to get it all done, let me come an give you an extra pair of hands when you need, when it suits you.

    I have experience working with all ages and hold a current working with children’s check.

Soil Session

  • 1.5-2hrs

  • $300 weekdays

    $400 weekends

  • The majority of your success as a gardener is within your soil! Book a soil session for on site help with you soil.

    Sessions are modified for the individual client and may include:

    • pH testing

    • pH adjustment advice

    • Overview of soil health

    • Tips on improving soil health

    • Advice on composting set up/help with compost set up

    Off site formal soil analysis testing can be facilitated at an extra charge.

Fruit Tree Pruning (Urban Block)

  • Hourly rate

  • $150/hr weekdays

    $200/hr weekends

  • Winter or summer fruit tree pruning service for urban block/at home fruit trees. Charged per hour of service. Can include working together and teaching you how to prune your trees.
